Important: Please Read
Tahi Wealth Limited is a personal finance platform, not a financial adviser. The tools and data on this Platform are for factual, educational, and organisational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. Any advice provided through the Platform comes from independently licensed financial advisers, not from Tahi.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Tahi platform (the "Platform"), including the website at tahiwealth.co.nz and the Tahi mobile and web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including users who connect a financial adviser through the Platform.
About Tahi
Tahi Wealth Limited ("Tahi", "we", "us") is a New Zealand company that provides a personal finance platform to help you view, organise, and understand your financial position. Tahi connects to your bank accounts via Akahu (an open banking data provider) and displays your financial data in one place.
Tahi also provides a platform through which licensed financial advisers can, with your consent, access your financial data and record advice.
Not Financial Advice
The tools, calculators, projections, and content provided by Tahi are for general informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or any other regulated financial service under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
Tahi Wealth Limited is not a Financial Advice Provider (FAP) and does not provide personalised financial advice. Nothing on the Platform takes into account your individual financial situation, goals, or risk tolerance.
If a licensed financial adviser is connected to your account through the Platform, that adviser operates independently under their own FAP licence. Any advice they provide is their responsibility and is governed by the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. Tahi is not a party to and takes no responsibility for any advice given by connected advisers.
Account Registration
To use the Platform you must:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@tahiwealth.co.nz if you believe your account has been compromised.
Bank Account Linking
Tahi uses Akahu to connect to your bank accounts. By linking a bank account you authorise Akahu to retrieve your account balances and transaction data on your behalf and share that data with Tahi.
This connection is read-only. Tahi and Akahu cannot initiate transactions, move money, or change any settings on your bank accounts.
Your use of Akahu is also subject to Akahu's own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect your bank accounts at any time from within the Platform. Disconnecting will stop future data retrieval but historical data already retrieved will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy until you request deletion.
Adviser Access and Consent
You may choose to connect a licensed financial adviser to your Tahi account. By granting an adviser access you authorise them to view your financial data on the Platform, including your bank balances, transaction history, KiwiSaver data, investment holdings, mortgage information, and insurance policy records.
Your adviser cannot make any changes to your accounts, initiate transactions, or access data outside the Platform. The full scope of adviser access is described in our Adviser Data Sharing Disclosure.
You can revoke an adviser's access at any time from within the Platform. Revocation takes effect immediately.
Tahi does not conduct due diligence on the qualifications, competence, or ongoing fitness of financial advisers who access the Platform. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself as to an adviser's credentials before granting access. Tahi reserves the right to suspend or terminate an adviser's access immediately upon becoming aware of a material regulatory finding, censure, suspension, or other adverse action against that adviser by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) or any other applicable regulatory body. Where we take such action we will notify affected users as soon as practicable.
Subscriptions and Billing
Tahi offers a paid subscription tier ("Tahi Summit") that unlocks additional features. By subscribing you agree to the applicable subscription fees, which are charged in advance on a recurring basis.

This includes any loss arising from reliance on financial data, calculator outputs, projections, or adviser communications facilitated through the Platform.
Tahi does not verify the completeness or accuracy of financial information you upload or connect to the Platform. To the extent that an adviser provides advice based on information that is incomplete, inaccurate, or not reflective of your full financial position, Tahi accepts no liability for any loss arising from that advice.
Any financial advice provided by a licensed adviser through the Platform is that adviser's sole responsibility. Tahi accepts no liability for the content, quality, or outcome of any such advice, regardless of whether that advice was informed by data held on the Platform.
